Julia Cattalini - Mature Age Make-up Specialist

Julia Cattalini's 30 years as a make-up artist have taken her from being State Manager for Yves Saint Laurent, a position she held for 12 years, to teaching students the skills of make-up artistry and authoring her own book, "We're Not Dead Yet! – Make-up advice for women who have grown up – not grown old."

Julia loves doing make-up for mature age ladies and finds it very rewarding to see the change in her clients once they have been made-up with a fresh, glowing look. She believes that once you look good, you instantly feel better and your self esteem is given a nice boost!

Julia produced her book and DVD, "We're Not Dead Yet! – Make-up advice for women who have grown up – not grown old" after the death of her husband motivated her to return to the industry she knows and loves. Since then she has never looked back, providing her services to hundreds of women across Perth, and has even appeared on Channel 7's Today Tonight due to her book.

Julia is also a lecturer in Design and Apply Make-up at TAFE and the WA Institute of Beauty Therapy, where she enjoys the opportunity to pass her knowledge and experience onto a new generation of burgeoning make-up artists.
